The works in the Colorland series divide the sky into black and white fields. The resulting grid loses sharpness with increasing distance and, from a certain point onwards, changes into numerous shades of grey, depending on the viewer's eye. The two-dimensional representation becomes three-dimensional. From this individual "point", at which the eye no longer just sees, the brain takes over and creates spaciousness.
