The Pop series consists of images of bubbles or fizz - whereby it remains unclear whether the shapes are empty or not. The actual aggregate state of the substances also remains unknown. This corresponds perfectly with the gridding of the objects, which causes them to collapse into flat line structures when viewed up close: this makes the depictions at least doubly recognisable and interpretable.

Die Pop Serie besteht aus Bildern von Blasen bzw. Sprudel – wobei offen bleibt, ob die Gebilde inhaltslos sind oder nicht. Offen bleibt auch, um welchen Aggregatzustand der Stoffe es sich jeweils eigentlich ganz konkret handelt. Das korrespondiert hervorragend mit der Rasterung der Objekte, welche diese bei naher Betrachtung in flache Linienstrukturen zerfallen lässt: damit sind die Darstellungen mindestens doppelt erkenn- und deutbar.
